Shownu is the face of the group and oldest member of Monsta X. Since debut, he has worked hard in promoting Monsta X in various programs and variety shows. He is very charismatic and has a strong stage presence. Despite his cool and tough appearance, he is actually very shy, quiet, and reserved. The members often describe him as their pillar, shield, and strength. Also, as someone who is thoughtful and cares for others well. He has a carefree and easygoing personality, you will rarely ever see him angry or upset. He is naturally funny and likes to make jokes, easily one of the funniest people. He is straightforward and honest, but gives realistic advice and many words of wisdom. He is incredibly humble, generous, selfless, and hardworking.
